Greene County's
Principal Askew Must Go!

Mr. Daniel Yearwood, a teacher, says:

"I have been teaching for fifteen years and had never considered paying to join a teacher's union.  I just could not see the value in paying $200 to $400 a year for membership in which the only benefits seemed to be a cheap tote bag and a coupon for lunch once a year.  Moreover, a large percentage of the dues for these organizations is going to political action committees that lobby Congress to pass laws that have made teaching much tougher today than when I first started.  Thankfully, I became aware of MACE.  I have seen first-hand how MACE expends enormous amounts of time and effort to politely but aggressively defend teachers.  I know that my dues are being used in an effective and wise manner.  Kudos to Dr. Trotter and everyone else on the MACE staff for all of the work that you do."
