State Representatives Barnes and Jordan endorse MACE.

State Representatives Darryl Jordan and Mike Barnes have recently made clear statements about which teacher organization that they believe represents teachers most effectively. Representative Jordan (who represents parts of Riverdale, Jonesboro, and Fayetteville) stated: "I’ve been a member of MACE from the first month that MACE was founded. I’m a proud Charter Member of MACE. Even as a three-term State Representative, I wouldn’t think of teaching without being a MACE member! I see firsthand every day what can happen to teachers. I’m on the MACE Team!" Representative Mike Barnes (who represents parts of Hampton, Lovejoy, and Jonesboro) stated: "As a former Chairman of the Clayton County Board of Education and as a four-term State Representative, I can say, without a doubt, that MACE is the toughest teachers’ union in the state. If I were a teacher, I would want Dr. Trotter and MACE on my side!"
